Biography

Dr Iva Chianella is currently lecturer in Bio- Nano Sensors within the School of Aerospace, Transport and Manufacturing (SATM) at Cranfield University. Dr Chianella main research interests are: – development of chemical and biochemical sensors/nanosensors for industrial, environmental, clinical and safety applications; and synthesis of novel polymeric nanomaterials (e.g. Molecularly Imprinted Polymers Nanoparticles) for sensors and assays. Dr Chianella has more than 50 publications on the development of sensor/biosensors and on the development of novel polymeric materials and their use in different analytical systems.
